The MIT economist who is the brains behind Obamacare has made quite a stir with his admission that President Obama’s health care takeover was built on lies………
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” Mr. Gruber said. “Call it the stupidity of the American voter, or whatever. But basically, that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass.”
It’s plain and simple: If Obamacare was so good for “the people” why wasn’t the president himself along with his backup group in Congress the first to line up and sign up? If it is so beneficial why are threats necessary for coercion?
Yet already the law, coming on top of previous legislation, is speeding the demise of an American small-business institution; the one-doctor medical practice.
As the economic consequences of the Affordable Care Act incrementally surface, more and more politicians who played a role in its passage are trying to turn their backs and disassociate themselves from it, ever more-so as we draw closer to mid-term elections.
The animated video below will point out some of the ridiculous and ludicrous details of Obamacare. So funny you will laugh until you cry.
We are a nation of laws. There is a specific process in our nation by which laws are created. To keep this official, here’s the process……Or if you are around my age, you may have become familiar with it by the SchoolhouseRock version:
Once a bill is signed into law it becomes the Law of the Land.
The President or anyone else for that matter cannot just go back and make changes and exemptions at will. Is there anyone who will stand up to this abuse of his executive authority?
While the Affordable Care Act was making its way through Congress in 2009 and 2010, President Obama famously promised the American people over and over again that if you like your health plan, you can keep it. But the president’s promise is turning out to be false for millions of Americans who have had their health insurance policies canceled because they don’t meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
